Alison Wong's debut novel As the Earth Turns Silver recently won the 2010 NZ Post Book Awards. Her poetry collection, Cup, was shortlisted for the Best First Book of Poetry at the 2007 Montana New Zealand Book Awards, and in 2009 she received the Janet Frame Award for Fiction.
