Another 2010 Carlos Palanca Award Winner Named

Following The Visayan Daily's announcement of Professor Merlie Alunan's first prize win, we received news that Joel Vega's poetry collection won third place in the same category.

Joel Vega was born in Manila, Philippines and works as editor for the Reed Business Information group in the Netherlands. His poems and short stories have appeared in various Philippine and US publications. He won the Meritage Press Poetry Contest in 2004.
