# Open to all students, both undergraduates and postgraduates, studying full- or part-time anywhere in the world.

# There are no restrictions on age, nationality, content, length and type of play, number of scenes and characters: i.e. there are no limits.

# Entries must be in English, but may be translated, if necessary, by anyone, including non students.

# Previous ISPC winners are not eligible.

# There is no entry fee.

# Entrants are strongly advised to keep a complete spare copy of their work and to number each page.

# All scripts must be received by 30 November annually. Playwrights may adopt pseudonyms if they wish, but should inform Phil Mann at the ISPC of their true identity by emailing phil@isplayscript.org once the scripts have been entered. This is purely for contact purposes.

# The winning student should be notified by 1st March 2011.

# A condition for entry is that the winning student will attend a rehearsed reading publicly at NSDF11 (9-15 April 2011 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire if chosen, and will keep themselves available to attend the whole Festival if the play is to be given a rehearsed reading.

# The play may also be given further rehearsed readings as a part of the year-round commitment of the NSDF and ISPC.

# To submit your play(s) by post, please send one typed copy, plus entry form to the first round reader, Professor Peter Thomson, Department of Drama, Thornlea, New North Road, University of Exeter, EX4 4JZ, United Kingdom.

# Alternatively, to submit your play(s) by email please send a copy of the .doc .pdf file to enter@isplayscript.org again including the entry form(s).

# Use a separate entry form for each play entered.

# All entries are offered helpful, positive feedback from Professor Thomson.
