S.E.A. Write stands for South East Asian Writers Awards which was established to honour leading poets and writers in the ASEAN region. The award recognises the creativity of writers from countries of the ASEAN region, creates a wider awareness and understanding of literary wealth amongst the ten ASEAN countries, honours and promotes the literary talents of the ASEAN creative writers, and brings together the many talents of ASEAN writers.
This year in Thailand, the award will be given in the field of poetry. Seventy four books were submitted, from which the following finalists have been chosen:
1. Wannao Yuden: Doen Tam Roy (Follow the Footsteps)
2. Zakariya Amataya: Mai Mee Yingsao Nai Bot Kawee (There is No Woman in the Poetry)
3. Siriworn Kaewkan: Chan Yark Rong Phleng Sak Phleng (I am Craving to Sing a Song)
4. Nai Thiwa: Nai Kwarm Wai Ning Ngan (In the Fleeting, Stunning and Stillness)
5. Kosin Khao-ngarm: Muang Nai Saeng Daed (A Town Basked in the Sunlight)
6. Chokchai Bundit: Roop Chai Lai Cheep (Reflecting Lives, Reflecting Patterns).
