In order to help educate our visitors on the importance of good insurance coverage, Affordable Insurance Options Online is sponsoring an insurance related essay contest! The contest is open to anyone who has a true story to tell about how any type of insurance policy made a big impact on their lives and financial well being. Did adding extra coverage to your homeowners policy save your house? Did a pet insurance plan save your beloved dog or cat? We want to know your story! Every submission will be reviewed and considered for one of three cash prizes. The submission guidelines and entry form are below.

Criteria:
The winning submissions will be chosen using the following judgment criteria:
1) Importance of insurance coverage. 50%
How well does your submission relay to others the importance of adequate insurance coverage? Let us know not only how you benefited from your policy, but also what would have happened if you hadn’t had coverage.
2) Creativity. 30%
How creative can you be in your storytelling and writing style? The more creative and unique your essay structure is, the better!
3) Grammar. 20%
How grammatically correct is your submission? Take the time to edit your submission and to ensure that your spelling, sentence structure, punctuation and grammar are as good as they can be.
Submission Guidelines:
1) All entries must be “family friendly” in order to be considered and published. Any submissions that contain profanity or other content not suitable for children will be immediately disregarded.
2) All entries must be unique. (No entries that have been previously published elsewhere, online or otherwise, will be considered.)
3) All entries must adhere to the following length requirements:
Minimum: 200 words
Maximum: 350 words
4) All entries must be received by Affordable Insurance Options Online by the submission deadline of Monday, December 13th. Any submissions received after 11:59pm Pacific Standard time, on Monday, December 13th, will be dismissed and will not be eligible for consideration.
