International presenters are encouraged to submit. All international presenters will be offered free registration to the conference with 3 nights free accommodation in Hong Kong Shue Yan University. They will also be provided with breakfast and lunch coupons for the duration of conference.
To receive full consideration abstracts of your proposed paper must be submitted before July 31st , 2010. Please note on the abstract whether your proposal is for Paper or Workshop. All abstracts must be in English. Poster presentations will also be accepted.
Papers that address theoretical, practical, and research aspects of counselling from cultural perspectives are particularly welcome. Other counselling topics will also be considered. The program will consist of individual papers, workshops and a keynote address. The papers should be scholarly and written in a style that is accessible for researchers, professional, clients and self-help readers.
Abstracts are to be typed and be no more than 500 words and no less than 100 words. Abstracts must be relevant to the counselling and psychotherapy fields and address the theme of the Conference. Abstracts are for 90 minute workshops and 30 minute papers.
