We are seeking writers for a series of healthcare question and answer sets (Q&As). Writers will be given a topic and must research it to create a Q&A that is interesting, engaging, and presented for the layperson -- it should draw in the reader, not read like a medical text.
This long-term project pays $5.00 per Q&A. Each Q&A set should take only 15 minutes to write (our writers have found that their time speeds up very quickly once they are familiar with the process), with a 1-sentence question and a 3–5-sentence answer, followed by a 1-sentence short answer (the same as your original answer, just abridged) and a 1-sentence description. Writers will be asked to provide 5-10 keywords per article. Writers will use approved sources and must document which
sources they used. Each topic will have 30 Q&A sets, so you will be familiar with the source content for each topic.
Writers will be asked to take on as many Q&As sets per week as possible from now through July. Writers will work from home.
EAMPLE Q&A:
Why does my child's urine smell like maple syrup?
LONG ANSWER: Urine and other body fluids that smell like maple syrup are characteristics of maple syrup urine disease, found particularly in Mennonite families. Your child's body is unable to metabolize specific amino acids, and the byproducts cause the maple syrup smell. Serious forms develop within a week of birth and require the immediate care of a doctor. Milder forms develop later in children's lives and can be treated through vitamin B injections and a strict diet low in the amino acids they cannot metabolize.
SHORT ANSWER: Urine and other body fluids that smell like maple syrup are characteristics of maple syrup urine disease.

Use the information in this article to create two sample Q&As. Please follow these guidelines:
• Do not plagiarize! Present the information in your own words--but be sure not to change meaning or sacrifice accuracy when you alter the wording.
• Questions should be asked from a layperson's perspective. They should be simple and straightforward, and they should sound like something an ordinary person would actually ask. Watch out for overly long or wordy sentences. Don't cram too much information into each sentence just to meet the 5-sentence limit. If you're having trouble meeting the limit, your question may be too broad.
SEND RESUME AND SAMPLE Q&As AS ATTACHMENTS TO PMANAGER@SHAKESPEARESQUARED.COM. The e-mail subject line should be: “Q & A Writing Sample."
