Come on over on Monday night, May 17, and join us for a staged reading of SANSKRIT by Ranbir Sidhu.
Featuring the way too fine Jolly Abraham (Broadway: Coram Boy, Bombay Dreams) and the unfailingly ambidextrous Rajesh Bose (Off-Broadway: The Seagull, The Empire of the Trees).
Directed by George Ferencz.
When Anu and Hari married, they promised each other they’d be the Bonnie and Clyde of Indian marriage: break all the rules, make their own roads, put a gun to the head of normal and pull the trigger. Four years later, a single night fueled by sex, drugs, and their own unspoken needs shatter what both had believed was perfect.
This event is free and open to the public. Talkback follows performance.
Our goal is to put up a full production in late 2010/early 2011, and your presence, support, and feedback will be enormously helpful and appreciated. We're also starting a small theater company, Grant Trunk Road. With a name like that, we might even go places.
