RPN Flora and Fauna Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization that aims to help in the preservation, management and care of the Philippine biological diversity. To make the youth aware of their advocacy, they launched 4 different contests catered to aspiring photographers, writers, inventors and artists. For a small participation fee, participants have a chance of bagging huge CASH prizes and receiving recognition.
* Essay Competition
o Open to all students between 10 and 18 years old, enrolled or who will be enrolled in all grade school and secondary public, private and parochial schools in the Philippines
o Essay Guidelines
+ Essay compositions must be the work of an individual only
+ Free of spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors
+ Must cite the sources. Use parenthetical citations within the text.
+ Minimum of five (5) bibliography sources are allowed. Essays that rely solely on internet sources may be disqualified
+ Print in A4 size paper using MS Word in Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced with one (1) inch margin on all four (4) sides and numbered pages
+ Not more than 1,500 but less than 1,000 words (doesn't include title, bibliography and parenthetical citations)
