Ask Mr. International

Ask Mr. International, a just-launched blog run by former Money magazine correspondent and current newspaper columnist and international consultant that publishes lifestyle information with a global perspective, is seeking web-savvy, cosmopolitan bloggers. The blogger's responsbility will include researching and writing blog posts to help readers make informed choices about living and retiring abroad and buying foreign real estate. Must be able to write punchy, read-me-now copy in the form of concise and informative briefs. Candidate should have a passion for international travel, an interest in worldwide destinations, and, ideally, a familiarity with global travel blogs, Web sites, forums, and message boards. Knowledge of social networking sites is a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of social networking sites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter) and the ability to create viral videos (e.g., YouTube). Freedom to write about whatever destinations, opportunities and services you like. Compensation: $10 per 200- to 250-word post (two to four per week) to start, with bonuses for increasing the blog's traffic. Pay monthly via Paypal.
