Pakistan: Celebration of Environment in Poetry
Last April 22, the Diocesan Commission for Interfaith Dialogue in Faisalabad, Pakistan, held a poetry reading on environment and environmental issues, coinciding with Earth Day. Twenty Christians and Muslims took part in the said event that called for peace and love for nature. Fr. Khalid Rashid, vicar general of the diocese, says that "anything that the earth gives is a message of peace," and he invites everyone to change the way they behave.
