Assistant Professor in English (Tennessee)
Position Summary: Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor or Instructor of English. This is a full-time, 9 month, non-tenurable position to begin August, 2010. Salary is competitive and commensurate with academic preparation and experience.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities: Teach freshman writing courses and, depending on experience and qualifications, sophmore level world literature course.

Required Qualifications: M.A. in English or M.F.A. in Creative Writing required.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference given to candidates with experience teaching developmental writing and to those qualified to teach creative writing.
