As a part of forthcoming 9th Free Medical Camp for Asian low-income groups under the auspices of Supreme Council of Health and HMC, jointly organised by Indian Islamic Association (IIA) and Indian Medical Association (IMA), the organising committee has decided to conduct an Essay writing competition for the Malayalam speaking community on the subject of ‘Expatriate lifestyle, health problems and remedies’.
The objective of the competition is to trigger serious review and thoughts on lifestyle whilst they are in this part of the world away from their home, its associated health problems and to promote the practical remedial measures with a unique message ‘health is invaluable’ – a spokesman of the Organising committee said.
The duration for essay writing in Malayalam language is 2 hours with no limit on number of pages or words which is scheduled to be conducted at Shantiniketan Indian School, Najma at 9am on April 16 Friday.
Those who wish to participate in the competition can reserve their names at IIA office by calling 4435464/5 or 5824373 by tonight. The results of the competition will be declared in the Medical Camp venue on 23.04.2010.
