1. editing of website or EDM (electronic direct mail) contents from English to Hong Kong Traditional Chinese
2. translation of website or EDM contents from English to Hong Kong Traditional Chinese
3. quality control / consulting services related to Hong Kong Traditional Chinese website or EDM
Basic requirement of the translator, we would prefer someone who:
1. delivers high quality work in high speed, e.g. 2-3 days turnaround time for 6 full A4 pages content.
2. has good working attitudes, and flexible in terms oh handling jobs and timeline
3. is able to work with multiple layers of people
4. is easily accessible and to communicate with
5. has the knowledge of working on web files such as HTML, INC
6. has the knowledge of working on CAT tools
7. Preferably candidate is a Hong Kong native, or one with strong Hong Kong cultural and background
8. Preferably candidate is from Asia region for ease of communication on same time zone.
There'll be at least 1 US workshop trip per quarter year the translator would need to attend. The company will cover flight, accommodation, meal and visa expenses. Should the US trip does not happen, there'll be midnight standby to work in order to meet the launch time in sync with US.
We are looking for someone who's can work fast while delivering tip-top quality. The market targeted is the young and urbanite, so the writing has to be slightly modern. The industry is related to computer/software/hardware, but it's not technical. The work doesn't involve material such as technical or product manuals. The writing is mostly marketing based.
