Description: Kapisanan is a youth-led Filipino community-based, multi-disciplinary art and cultural centre located in Toronto, Canada. Here, we encourage young Filipinos and Filipinas to express themselves through the arts. Kapisananʼs mentors and facilitators exhilarate artistic expression, professionalism and positive cultural identification into the community. We explore performance, visual and literary arts, film and video, and music by means of arts-based career mentorship, arts and cultural workshops, and cultural events.
