HMH's "Best American" Anthologies Seek Guest Editors of Color
For 2010, the guest editors for Houghton Mifflin's Best American Anthologies are all white men:

The Best American Short Stories: Richard Russo
The Best American Essays: Christopher Hitchens
The Best American Comics: Neil Gaiman
The Best American Nonrequired Reading: Dave Eggers (with an introduction by David Sedaris)
The Best American Science and Nature Writing: Freeman Dyson
The Best American Mystery Stories: Lee Child

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's executive director for publicity, Lori Glazer, was quoted as saying, “the process for choosing the guest editor for each volume in the Best American series is independent of the others.” Ms. Glazer adds, “We’d love to have more guest editors of color as well.”

To nominate Asian guest editors, Lori Glazer's email address is lori.glazer@hmhpub.com (email address courtesy of She Writes).
