The 19th Takeshi Kaiko Asian Writers' Memorial Lecture Series
The Japan Foundation has been organizing the Takeshi Kaiko Asian Writers' Memorial Lecture Series, in which Asian writers are invited to give lectures across Japan, utilizing the funds donated by the family of the late writer Takeshi Kaiko. This year, the 19th of the series, Thai author Mr. Uthis Haemamool will give lectures in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Hakodate, from March 18 through March 27. Mr. Uthis won the South East Asia Write Award 2009 for his third novel "Laplae Kaeng Khoi."

Each lecture is admission free but booking is essential.
