Job Post: Creative Writing Lecturer (Murray State University)
LECTURER - Creative Writing (Fiction), Department of English & Philosophy. Full-time, non-tenure track position to begin August 2010. Qualifications: M.F.A. or Ph.D. in Creative Writing (Fiction) by appointment date is required. Evidence of teaching excellence and significant record of publication required. Ability to teach contemporary literature desirable. Responsibilities: Teach four courses per semester in fiction writing, courses covering one or more periods of literature with an emphasis in the short story and the novel, composition, and a sophomore-level Humanities course; engage in appropriate service.
