Creative Writing Workshop In Brunei Sees More Talent
Participants from the “Bengkel Penulisan Kreatif” or “Creative Writing Workshop” started to warm up after the opening ceremony which took place yesterday at the Kampong Pandan Library in Belait District, Brunei. The first facilitator, Haji Zaini bin Haji Omar briefed the 27 participants on the how to stay motivated in facing all challenges to be an excellent creative writer. He also touched on his experiences when he was holding a post at the Brunei Shell Petroleum Company. Haji Zaini used a number of references for his slides, including famous writers such as Habiburrahman El Shirazy who authored novels such as “Ayat-Ayat Cinta”, “Ketika Cinta Bertasbih” Book 1 and “Ketika Cinta Bertasbih” Book 2.
