Description: The Galle Literary Festival 2010 ended with a day of free events for school children from Galle. They attended creative writing workshops and explored an older history of the Fort’s streets that had just seen a long weekend of spirited conversation, literary feasting, kite flying on the ramparts and open air performances in the Law Court Square. Dates for the 2011 Festival will be announced on this site in May. In the meantime we’ll leave it to our Festival writers and audiences to sum up the spirit of 2010.
