The Asia Writes Project
AsiaWrites.org is the foremost and most up-to-date resource for Asian writers; and a literary journal that features exemplary poetry, fiction, and essays by prominent/ emerging writers in the region and the diaspora.

Without doubt, Asia Writes is the biggest community of Asian writers with:

• 8,000 (and growing) followers on Facebook and Twitter
• Up to 3,000 daily page views
• 9,000 web pages/ entries
• A wide network of writers from the four Asian sub-regions: East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and West Asia

Without any funding, Asia Writes has been able to provide world-class service for free:

• The Asia Writes Team is online 16 hours a day and the site is updated twice daily, seven days a week, to provide its followers the latest opportunities (competitions, grants, scholarships, calls for submissions, funded workshops) available.
• It is a free service (no registration or paid membership required) with the objective of providing legitimate platforms for Asian writers to publicize their works and develop their craft.
• It has the most comprehensive directory of writing-related websites relevant to writers in the region.
• The site is linked to various reputable literary/ arts institutions in Asia such as the Asia Pacific Writing Partnership in Australia. Please see the complete list of institutions/ organizations linking to our site here: http://www.asiawrites.org/2009/12/links.html.
• The Asia Writes Calendar, which keeps track of upcoming opportunity deadlines and literary events, is as comprehensive as the site itself.
• The Asia Writes team replies to literary submissions and academic and scholarly queries/assistance within 48 hours.

For partnerships or queries, please e-mail the Asia Writes team at support@asiawrites.org or info@asiawrites.org.
