So you want to be a writer? Send us your joke, anecdote or story, and if we publish it in the magazine, we'll pay as follows:

• Anecdotes and jokes (up to $100): Send in your real-life gem for Life! or @Work. Got a great joke? Send it in for Laugh!
• Smart Animals (up to $100): Send us a tale about the antics of unique pets or wildlife.
• Power of Good (up to $150): Acts of generosity can change lives. Share your moments in 100-500 words.
• My Story ($350): Submissions must be original, true, previously unpublished and 800-1000 words.
