HAF announces the HAF Script Development Fund, a new cash award to support young filmmakers from the Chinese-speaking territories in Asia in script development. With the aim of enhancing script development in the Chinese language, the Fund awards a total of HKD 100,000 to qualified project submissions.
Application is open to director who has made no more than 3 films, and the selection is based on the projects' creativity as well as its artistic and commercial qualities. Applicants will be required to submit a full script written in Chinese; they may also apply to HAF proper with a full script to become eligible for the HAF Script Development Fund.
Eligibility and submission details will be provided on HAF website by early December.
