Indian Development Foundation Student Essay Contest on Tuberculosis (Rs3,000 top prize)

In celebration of the World Tuberculosis Day on March 24, The Indian Development Foundation and the Gremaltes Hospital - Chennai have organized an essay writing competition for students.

Class 8 and 8 students are asked to write an essay on the topic, "Tuberculosis and its Status in India: Importance of Your Role". Cash prizes of Rs3000, Rs2000 and Rs1000 will be awarded to the top three placers.

Entries should be in English, handwritten and authorized by the principal/ headmaster. Essays should not exceed 750 words and must be accompanied by the entrant's personal details: full name, date of birth, address, contact numbers, and a passport-size photo.
