Railonama is an anthology of short stories and poems of train travels in India. It aims to be a series of short stories that are emotionally engaging, inspiring, and unique. If you have taken even just one train journey in India, we invite you to share your story and get it published. This title will be released in paperback and e-book formats in 2013. Deadline for submission in March 31st, 2013. Those whose stories get published, will get a printed copy of the book. The book will be published in both US and India and the proceeds from the royalties will go back to India to the victims of train accidents and such via the non-profit PickaFight.in .

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS:
  • Contributions should be between approximately 750 and 6000 words in length.
  • All manuscripts and story ideas must be submitted in English. The book may be published in multiple languages.
  • Manuscripts and story ideas must be original, unpublished works. By submitting a manuscript or story idea, writers warrant that their entry materials are original and do not infringe on any third party’s rights.
  • It's fine to submit more than one story at a time. Please send them through the form separately, not together in one document.
SELECTION PROCESS FOR AUTHORS:

All submissions will be reviewed by an independent review panel. Announcements will be made by June 30, 2013.
