Tibetan Students' Association of Madras Essay Competition (Rs1,000 top prize | India)

The Tibetan Students Association, Madras, is 17 years old and an independent, non profit students' body formed formally in 1993 on the students' own initiation. The association seeks to keep Tibetan identity alive by exhibiting its rich and unique culture.

They are having an essay writing competition in English and Tibetan. The topics are:

TIBETAN :

• བོད་རྩོམ་འགྲན་བསྡུར་གྱི་བརྗོད་གཞི་ཁག
• ༡་ལོ་རྒྱུས་ཀྱིས་སྤྲད་པའི་ང་ཚོའི་འོས་འགན།
• ༢་མེ་ལྕེའི་ཁྲོད་ཀྱི་བོད་དོན།
• ༣་ངས་ནམ་ཡང་ཁྱེད་ལ་བསྟོད་།

ENGLISH:

• Why Lhakar matters?
• The representation of Tibetan in the world.
• Uniqueness of TSAM.
• My resolution as a Tibetan (2013)

Submit your article on or before 18th of February. A cash prize of Rs 1000 each will be awarded to the best article in Tibetan and English. Like their Facebook page for submission details and updates.
