ABOUT YOUR JOB:
As a Web Editor you will be responsible for the content for qatarairways.com on a global level and support the ecommerce team in maintaining content of the global/english and global/arabic sites. You will work with other internal departments, outstations and group companies to create, organize and edit qatarairways.com with the aim to ensure that the site is accurate, rich in information, up-to-date, and accessible to customers looking for information or to transact on the site. You will also copy, edit and proofread materials for online promotions, newsletters and other ecommerce communication as well as control usual of images and visual on the site.
ABOUT YOU:
You must be hold a degree in the field of Marketing, Journalism or other Communications related field with at least 3 years working experience in product marketing, press relations, advertising, sales, and/or project management. Prior work experience in a web content management related area a must. Travel industry experience in an airline, hotel or travel agency.
You must be creative with the ability to contribute individually, and lead, manage or participate in cross-functional teams. You must hold a high level of confidence and determination and be able to synthesize large amounts of content into web-usable chunks of information. We are looking for a candidate with excellent writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines
