To enter the Pratham Professional Contest, please submit an essay on ‘Law for the Aam Admi’, highlighting both the positive and negative of how the common man perceives and utilizes law and the legal system set up for his welfare under the Constitution of India. The winner will receive a copy of ‘Public Administration: Administrative Theory’ UPSC/state civil services Main Examinations (Paper – I) by J.K. Chopra published by Unique Publishers

To enter the Pratham Fiction Contest, submit an essay on ‘The Book That Changed Me’. You can choose from a work of fiction, philosophy or non fiction. The winner will receive a copy of the Pulitzer winning classic “To Kill A Mocking Bird’ by Harper Lee.

Email your entries by midnight, 17th of February, 201. For those interested in sending the write up in Hindi, please contact Kanwar.

RULES:
  • The word count for the essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. The submission should be in 12 pt Times New Roman font.
  • Please paste your entry in the body of your email. Do NOT attach any files. Any email with attachments will be deleted promptly. If submitting to both, Professional and Fiction Contests, please submit entries individually and not in the same mail.
  • There is no entry fee. No fancy fonts or formatting.
  • The decision about the winner is final and will not be subject to question.
  • The results will be declared and posted on the blog within a week of the contest closing. The winners will be intimated by email.
