Kariton Revolition is a joint project of Cavite City's Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and Dynamic Teen Company of Efren PeƱaflorida, Jr. in cooperation wih the Tourism Council, City Government and the Department of Education of Cavite. They are having a Short Story Contest that will run until February 28th.
The contest is open to all high school students in 1st District of Cavite Province (Cavite City, Noveleta, Kawit and Rosario); public and private; elementary, secondary, tertiary level and out-of-school youth.

MECHANICS:
- Each school is allowed to send as many contestants with a maximum of one (1) entry per contestant.
- Participants must write a short story in English or Filipino relevant to the theme "Pushing Towards Unity".
- Short stories must be computer-typed. Entries must be in a short bond paper.
- Font should be in Times New Roman only. Font size should be 12pt, double-spaced.
- Entries must have a maximum of 1000 words.
- The short stories must promote a positive message.
- Entries shall be submitted in a large brown envelope or mailed at 188 J. Miranda St., Barangay 14, Caridad, Cavite City 4100, look for Mr. Klarence M. Baptista or via email.
- Each entry must be labeled with Title of the Short Story, Writer's Name, Age, Contact Details and School.
- The criteria of judging will be: (a) story content and cretivity, 60%, (b) relevance of the story to the theme, 30%, and (c) mechanics and organization, 10%.
- One winner per level (primary, secondary, tertiary, and OSY) will be chosen.
