Manipal Blog is the first multi-author blog based out of the university town of Manipal. It started as the Unofficial Manipal University Blog. The objective was to promote and highlight the life and culture in the university town of Manipal, Karnataka, and to provide an outlet for all Individuals across the country to voice their opinion.
Today, ManipalBlog.com has over 100 contributors, with a wide range of topics being discussed on the blog. Bloggers from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Kasturba Medical College - Manipal and Mangalore (KMC), Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC), Manipal School of Architecture Planning (MSAP), Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal School of Nursing (MCONS), Manipal Life Sciences Center (MLSC) , Melaka Manipal Medical College (MMMC), Manipal College of Dental Sciences - Manipal and Mangalore (MCODS), students from institutes such as NITTE, residents of Manipal, and people from India and other nationalities are part of this initiative!
We are currently looking for Editors (sports, technology, food and lifestyle, entertainment) who are based in Manipal. Click on this link and fill the form if interested. Please fill in all the blocks as we will be scrutinizing the same prior to the interview on 24th February 2013. We will also be discussing the remuneration payable to you, so decide on what you are expecting from us. Be prepared for a spot editing task during the interview (Basic grammar and vocabulary skills will be tested). Editors will be required to work on 5-6 articles per month, if there is increase in the work, we will increase the remuneration proportionately. All those who join us will be receiving work experience certificates along with a letter of appreciation.
