Entries Invited: Opinion Writing Contest (Rs. 3,000 top prize | India)

Entries are invited for an Opinion Writing Contest on the topic: 'New policy on LPG cylinders distribution and its effects on forests cover'. A total of Rs. 8,000 in cash prizes can be won.

PRIZE MONEY:

• First prize Rs 3000
• Second prize Rs 2000
• Third prize Rs 1000
• Four special prizes of Rs 500 each

ELIGIBILITY:

• Everyone is eligible except professional journalists. No age bar
• No article will be accepted after October 31 , 2012.
• All articles should be supported with a latest passport size photograph and brief bio-data.
• Results will be declared in December.

Articles should be sent to Ajmer Alam Wani, the Editor-in-Chief of JK Monitor, an online news website about Jammu and Kashmir.
