The Black Market Review, Edge Hill University’s international literary e-journal, invites submissions of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, essays, art, photography, translations, scripts and book reviews for its fifth issue. Our reading period is October 1 to December 1. Unsolicited work outside those dates will not be read. No previously published work. Simultaneous submissions are accepted as long as we are notified of acceptance elsewhere.

- Poetry: 3-5 poems.
- Fiction and Creative Nonfiction: We prefer work under 6000 words.
- Translations: Please ensure permissions have been obtained from the author, publisher, etc.
- Art / Photography: Please send file attachments (jpg) or links to an online portfolio.
- Reviews and Interviews: Please query first.
- Response Time: 3-6 months. Do not query until at least six months have passed.
