The Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) Society of the Philippines is a parent-based organization where support group for persons with AD/HD are accessible to ensure the full attainment of their God-given potentials. It was organized for the purpose of providing support to the individuals with AD/HD, their families and professionals who work with them through family empowerment, advocacy and networking with stakeholders.

They are sponsoring an ADHD Awareness Week Essay Writing Contest on the theme, 'Understanding the Life of a Classmate with ADHD'.

RULES:
  • Minimum number of words: 800
  • Maximum number of words: 1,000
  • Open to all bonafide high school and college students.
  • Entries are accepted by e-mail
PRIZES:
  • 1st prize: P5,000 cash
  • 4 consolation prizes: P1,000 cash each
  • The 10 finalists will each receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the AD/HD Society of the Philippines.
Winners will be notified before October 13 and must be present during the opening of the ADHD Awareness Week and the All for One, All for Fun Photo Exhibit on October 13 at the 5th floor foot bridge (fronting the food court) at SM Megamall.
