Wildlife Week is celebrated every year during the period 2nd October to 8th October. The Forest Department conducts several activities during the week among the student community to create awareness and generate of love and responsibility towards the protection and conservation of wildlife.

Entries are invited from students of all educational institutions in accordance to the specifications/ details given for the respective competitions.

Each entry must carry the student's name, age, class, residential address and telephone number, and must be duly attested by the Head of the institution certifying the genuine work of the participant. The best 5 entries from each school must be submitted to "Office of the DY, Conservatory of Forests, Wildlife and Ecotourism Division (North), IV Floor, Junta House, Panaji, GOA 403001" or "Office of the DY, Conservatory of Forests, Wildlife and Ecotourism (South), Aquem, Margao, GOA" preferably by hand delivery or by post. Entries received after the due date will not be considered for evaluation. The number of entries to be sent is limited to 5 entries from each institution, and each student must submit only one entry per category.

High Schools

Higher Secondary Schools
Essay writing in Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, and English
