Global Review Writing Contest on International Affairs (Indonesia)

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Global Future Institute (GFI) as well as to promote the public interest on global issues, the board invites all individuals who are greatly interested in international /global issues, especially loyal readers of www.theglobal-review.com to participate in a writing competition for the category of writing opinion articles.

Writing themes are:
  • Indonesia's active role in dealing with the U.S. and China's global influence in the South China Sea.
  • Indonesia's active role in dealing with the U.S. global strategy in Syria.
Criteria for the Writing Contest:
  • Participants are students and young people, aged between 18-35 years.
  • The manuscript is the author's original work, and the committee has right to disqualify a winner if later it is proven not original.
  • The article is well written in Indonesian language, in a maximum of 5 pages (1,500 words), A4 size paper, typed in Times New Roman, 12-point size font, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Registration starts from 12 September to 1 October 2012, sent via email global_future_institute@yahoo.com. Please attach biographical data and photographs
  • Winners will be contacted by the committee to be invited to attend an award ceremony.
  • The committee will select one best article writer that deserves a cash prize of 500.000, -, certificate, 2 books published by GFI and the inaugural edition of The Global Review Quaterly journal, and will be published in the second edition of The Global Review Querterly journal.
  • Top 10 writers will get certificates, and 2 books published by GFI. In addition, their article will be published on the GFI's website.
  • The committee reserves the right to publish all sent articles and the articles will fully belong to the committee.
  • The committee will not approve any article received after the deadline.
  • The jury's decision is final and can not be contested.
