Assistant Editor Wanted for Renditions Journal of Chinese Literature Translation (Research Centre for Translation, Hong Kong)

Applicants should have (i) a Master’s degree in Chinese Studies or Translation; and (ii) native speaker’s command of English. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in literary translation. Short samples of creative writing/literary translation should be included in the application.

The appointee will work as Assistant Editor of Renditions, an international journal of translations of Chinese literature into English.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.

Position: Research Assistant

Monthly Salary and Fringe Benefits: Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care.
