Call for International Entries: 99FICTION's Flash Fiction Competition
Deadline: 30 September 2012 (London BST)

99FICTION is a site dedicated to flash fiction and poetry of not more than 99 words. They are having an international contest. The winner will receive a free bottle of wine from http://www.alcoholfree.co.uk/ posted anywhere in the world at the expense of 99fiction.

CONTEST GUIDELINES
  • Entries must be in English.
  • Entries must be the work of the entrant and must not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
  • Entries may have appeared online in private (password protected) peer review sites, but should not have been published in any commercial online form including blogs or personal websites.
  • Copyright remains with the author.
  • The decision of the judges is final.
  • Winners will be notified by email within two weeks of the closing date.
  • The results of the competition and story will be published on the 99fiction website.
  • In the body of the email please ensure that you include the title of your story, your name and contact email address, if different to that used to submit the entry.
  • Only submissions which are within the 99-word limit will be accepted. This means any story up to and including 99 words. Hyphenated words will be treated as one word.
  • The title does not form part of the word count.
  • No corrections will be accepted.
  • Entries not complying with competition rules will be disqualified.
