Via thehundu: As the United Writers’ Association celebrates its 27th year, the organisation is inviting applications for the UWA Effulgent Star of the Decade award for 2012-13 from journalists, academicians, educationists, professors, authors, artists, scientists and renowned personalities from other fields who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and contributed to the betterment of the society.
