2012 Kavya Creative Media Tamil Essay Competition (Rs. 10,000 top prize | India/ US)

Kavya Creative Media Pvt Ltd is conducting an Online Tamil Essay competition. This Tamil Essay contest is open to any individual who love Tamil language. This competition will be categorized in two different groups, category 1 (ages 6 - 18 ) and category 2 (open > 18 yrs old). If any one wanted to participate in this Tamil Essay Competition can send you entries through online or postal mail as described in the below section.

ELIGIBILITY

Category 1: (Ages 6 – 18)

• Topic for Category 1: Admirable characters of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (Former India President)
• Maximum 5 pages allowed

Category 2: (Open Category ages > 18 yrs old)

• Topics for Category 2: History on How the Chennai City evolved
• Maximum 10 pages are allowed

Prize announcement: Before September 15th, 2012

Prizes for 1st category:

• 1st Prize: ₹ 5000
• 2nd Prize: ₹ 3000
• 3rd Prize: ₹ 2000

Prizes for 2nd Category

• 1st Prize: ₹ 10,000
• 2nd Prize: ₹ 5000
• 3rd Prize: ₹ 3000

RULES:

• Tamil Essay competition is open to all countries world wide and the Prizes or equivalent Prize money will be distributed to the winners using the equivalent local currency. The Tamil Essay should not be copied from other magazines, forums, newspaper, websites and other sources and should be the respective individual creative material.
