T'nalak Festival 2012 Blog Writing Contest (P5,000 top prize | Philippines)

SouthCotabatoNews.Com, SouthCotabato.Org, the provincial government of South Cotabato, Sun Cellular and DOLE Philippines have come together to bring you the T'nalak Festival 2012 Blog Writing Contest. A blog-writing project that hopes to help in the promotion of the biggest annual celebration in the province of South Cotabato - the T'nalak Festival. Click here for the schedule

THE CONTEST WRITING TOPIC

To join, bloggers should compose a blog post about any of the following topics:
  • Top 15 Things he/she loved about T’nalak Festival and South Cotabato,
  • His/her Top 15 best experiences during T'nalak Festival or while in South Cotabato,
  • Or it can also be 15 words or phrases that best describe T'nalak Festival or South Cotabato and explain it,
  • If the blogger has never been to South Cotabato and has not attended any T'nalak Festival celebration, just post about 15 things of what it might be like to visit and experience T'nalak Festival for the first time.

(Note: 15th item should be about the improved signal of SUN in South Cotabato)

GUIDELINES
  • Posts can include first-person anecdotal experiences or travelogue-style writing.
  • The post MUST include the following sentence at the end part of the entry to be considered an official entry: “This is my submission for the T'nalak Festival 2012 Blog Writing Contest, which is made possible with the support of sponsors such as Hon. Governor Arthur Y. Pingoy, Jr and the province of South Cotabato, Sun Cellular - get two days of unlimited text to all networks for only ₱15 with SUN TEXTALL15, Dole Philippines, SouthCotabato.Org and South Cotabato News.”
  • All entries must be written and posted between July 19 until July 29, 2012. No reposted material will be considered.
  • Entry must have at least 300 words and must include photos.
  • Only one (1) entry per blogger.
  • blog must be at least 3 months old and must have at least 10 blog posts before July 11, 2012
  • Register using the form here until July 19.
  • Add SouthCotabatoNews.Com or SouthCotabato.Org to your blogroll.
  • After writing the blog entry, participant should post a COMMENT in this blog post that should contain the LINK to his/her ENTRY.
  • Deadline of submission of entries will be on July 29, 2012 at 12nn: entries after the cut-off time will not be considered.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

The winners will be chosen based on the following criteria:
  • Content, Value & Originality - 50%
  • Compliance to Contest Mechanics - 25%
  • Impact on Social Media (Nos. of Likes/Shares, Tweets, etc.) - 25%

PRIZES

From the qualified entries, we will choose the Three Best Blog Entries which will each win a major prize and 5 others will each win a consolation prize courtesy of SUN Cellular.
  • 1st Prize – P5,000.00 + giveaways from Sun Cellular and certificate
  • 2nd Prize – P3,000.00 + giveaways from Sun Cellular and certificate
  • 3rd Prize – P2,000.00 + giveaways from Sun Cellular and certificate
  • 5 Consolation prizes – giveaways from Sun Cellular

Winners will be announced throughout the day on August 2, 2012.
