Kyoto International Cultural Association has organized an Essay Contest for foreign residents in Japan. Applicant may check the URL for details and apply individually.
Eligibility : Foreign residents in Japan. If selected, applicants are required to give
an oral presentation in Kyoto on November 18.
Theme : Japan in the International Community: My View. The essay can be submitted in either English or Japanese, within 4,000 characters in Japanese or 2,000 words in English.
How to apply : Submit your essay and application form to Kyoto International Cultural Association Inc. by email at office@kicainc.jp
Prize : First prize 100,000yen, and two runners-up 50,000 yen for each language
Oral presentation : November 18 (Sun), 2012 at Kyoto International Community House
