Agence France-Presse (AFP), one of the world's leading news agencies, is looking for dynamic and motivated journalists to join its Hong Kong-based newsdesk covering fast-moving developments in the Asia-Pacific region.
The successful applicants will have a proven track record in journalism and will be comfortable writing and editing the world's top stories to real-time deadlines. We are looking for journalists with energy and ideas who possess a keen understanding of social media and the evolving digital media landscape.
The role is an editing position but can lead to reporting assignments and longer term correspondent postings.
Strong writing ability, excellent news judgment, a sound understanding of economics and multimedia skills are all essential.
Knowledge of Asian affairs and foreign languages including French desirable.
