IGME Essay Contest: The Future of Nursing and Medical Education ($2,000 top prize | worldwide)

The International Graduate Medical Education (IGM) provides a program that meets the needs of today's learners. The primary goal of the program is to offer graduate programs (M.Sc. and PhD), which are globally accessible. The programs meet the needs of working professionals (physicians, nurses, dentists, allied health professionals, and psychologists, teachers, etc.) that choose to further their education while continuing their careers.

IGME is now calling for entries for its Essay Contest on the topic of "The Future of Nursing and Medical Education".

CONTEST DETAILS:
  • Maximum 750 words including title in MS Word format
  • References not required
  • All entries screened for appropriate content
  • Winning essay judged by committee
  • Winners announced by June 30, 2012
  • Winning essay submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal
  • All eligible essays posted on the internet

FIRST PRIZE: $2000 Canadian (plus complimentary registration to the International Graduate Medical Education Summer Institute*)

SECOND PRIZE: complimentary registration to the International Graduate Medical Education Summer Institute with $500 bursary

THIRD PRIZE: complimentary registration to the International Graduate Medical Education Summer Institute ($1650 in value)
