Paragraphiti is a website dedicated to publishing outstanding international fiction and poetry. The idea of creating Paragraphiti was conceived in 2010 and the website debuted in 2011. We seek to feature quality works of international fiction and poetry with the aim of bringing the best of contemporary world literature to an English-speaking audience. We are presently able to offer free translations of the Persian works we choose to publish. In the future, we will be offering free translations from other languages as well.
WHAT DO WE WANT?
We want good stories and poems; that’s all we want! So if you think your work is good, we would like to read it. We welcome unsolicited fiction and poetry, previously unpublished in English.
We accept fiction in English, Farsi (Persian). Accepted Farsi (Persian) works will enjoy a free English translation.
If you submit a translated piece, we may ask you to send us also the original text.
Simultaneous Submissions?
We accept simultaneous submissions, but please let us know immediately if the work is accepted for publication elsewhere.
COUNT YOUR WORDS
We have no word limits, but longer works need to be better written to attract our attention. We accept novel excerpts only if it can be read as a complete piece.

RIGHTS
By sending us your work, you allow Paragraphiti to publish it on our website and we receive the first serial rights in our digital editions. The copyright reverts to the author immediately upon publication. Paragraphiti reserves also the right to keep your work in its archive for an indefinite time and use all or parts of it for promoting this website as advertisement. We also reserve the right to modify your bio.

- Send us only your best work.
- Send only one short story at a time or up to five poems and wait for our reply before you submit another work.
- Prepare your story as a .doc, .docx, .rtf, .pdf, or .txt file.
- Send us also a short bio. If you are submitting a translation send us a short bio for the original writer as well as your own (We retain the right to edit bios.)
- If you are submitting a translation let us know about the permission status.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK?
- Send your work as an email attachment. (The file you submit must be .doc, .docx, .rtf, .pdf, or .txt format.)
- In the Subject line of your email put the word “Submission,” and your name. For example, if your name is Sara Smith, the Subject line of your email will read “Submission, Sara Smith.”
- Put your name, contact information and bio in the body of the email.
- Send your work to paragraphiti{AT}yahoo{DOT}com.
