Call for Submissions: Tsuki Magazine (original writing related to Japan)
Deadline: every 25th of the month for the following month's issue

tsuki magazine is an English literary magazine issued monthly and based in Tokyo, Japan. The contents, contributed by individuals both locally and worldwide, are centered on the theme of Japan.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

We want your original writing, photography, and art! All work submitted must be in English and related to Japan. Only quality work following our guidelines will be accepted. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas regarding submissions please email us at: tsukimagazine@jesto.co.jp

WRITING:
  • All submissions must be under 1,500 words
  • Fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and essay accepted
  • Please include a 1-3 sentence biography along with your email and website
  • 2-3 photos related to the story welcome
  • Please submit all writing in a word document via email

PHOTOGRAPHY:
  • 2-4 high-resolution photos
  • (Submitted photos must have a minimum width of 2,100 pixels, or 7 inches. Final resolution must be 300 dots per inch or greater.)
  • Please include photographers name, website, contact information, names of models (if any), location of photo and photo titles
  • Please include a 1-3 sentence biography

ART:
  • 1-2 high-resolution digital copies
  • Digital work, illustrations, scans, high-resolution photos of work, and graphic accepted. No fan-art.
  • Please include artists name, website, contact information, and piece titles
  • Please include a 1-3 sentence biography

Submissions are due the 25th of every month to be considered for the following month’s issue.
