Call for New Writing from Around the World: Tampa Review
TROn is an online literary magazine dedicated to the blending of contemporary literature and visual arts in traditional and innovative ways. We feature new art and writing from Florida and around the world. The journal is edited and run by the students of the University of Tampa's MFA program in Creative Writing. We publish bi-monthly throughout the year. Our editorial staff considers online submissions of prose, poetry, and the visual arts.

Please do not send us work which is also being submitted elsewhere. We do not consider simultaneous submissions. This policy saves our editors from reading work that is not actually available for first North American publication, and it saves authors the embarrassment of having to withdraw a manuscript.

The writer’s name and email address should appear on the first page of each manuscript. We also appreciate receiving a telephone number. For multiple-page submissions, subsequent pages should be numbered and should include the author’s name and short title at the top of each page.

Fiction and nonfiction submissions should state a total word count at the top of the first page (upper right hand corner). For poetry, a line count is helpful.

Clearly indicate any space breaks within stories, especially when they occur at the end of a page so that these breaks will be obvious to our editors.

Translations must be submitted in original language as well as translated versions. Please also include a short biographical note on the translated author and a copy of the author's permission to translate.

A reporting time of approximately 12-16 weeks (3-4 months) can be expected. We try to report sooner if possible.
