Looking for Writers on the Arts - The Fuschia Tree: Young Indie Art Magazine (India)
The Fuschia Tree is an ecosystem of budding art. At its stem are tales of birth, growth, decay and renewal. Dedicated to artists, curators and writers of under the age of 40, our ecosystem is strictly about The Now and The New. It the very beginning of a characters' arc. A line is made where art and life blur.

At the center of this eco-system is our magazine. The writing is neither about the art market, nor about the art scene; instead a jargon-less, commerce-free meditation on the art of looking at art.

Every fortnight we will present you a thematic edition of new, exceptional artists / art spanning across different genres of art : Visual, New Media, Design, Performance and everything in between.

We are writers of Honesty. We hold life full in our hands and while the type curls around the pages, life and all our beliefs pour out.We are Poets of the Young for Artists of the Young. We are creators of a language that is personal and universal. We write for Art, we Art for Life, we Live to Write. Our Dreams of Art are close to our Dreams of Life, one penetrates the other, and in this tight embrace, we float, dropping anchor in the inkwells of our Times.

A Life. Line. On New Art.

SUBMISSIONS:

We're looking for passionate writers on the arts.

Our tone of voice is warm, fluid and up-close to the subject being spoken about. Choose an angle that moves you. We want honest meditations on a CONTEMPORARY work of Indian art, craft or design--drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed-media, performance, video, conceptual--or a young artist that inspires you. Our artists, like our writers, are under the age of 40.
