Gyaana books, one of India’s leading publishing giant is holding a Young Adult Fiction contest. Anjana Basu, Dipika Mukherjee, Salil Desai, Mahesh Natarajan, Anuradha Kumar, Saurbh Katyal and Amitabha Chatterjee are some of Gyaana’s bestselling writers.

GENERAL RULES:

The Entrant should be a resident of India. They must be 18 years plus. They must have never published a full-length work. The word count should be between 40,000-60,000 words. 2. The work must be a full-length novel that fits into the YA fiction category (romance/humour/campus novel, etc).The work must be original. The work should be unpublished and it must not be in consideration of any literary agent.

HOW TO APPLY:

The entrant should send the submission in hard copy, spiral bound, printed in a sans serif font (10/12). They must send their completed work to - Gyaana Crisps Contest, Gyaana Books, D 220, Sector 55, NOIDA 201307.

PRIZES:

Gyaana Books will publish the Winning entry. The author would get a publishing contract. Winner would also receive a cash award of Rs.5000. The runner up would receive a set of Gyaana titles each. They would also get a chance to make sure that Gyaana Books publish their
work next year.
