Madhyam Katha, a Bengali language journal of media culture in India is issuing a call for papers for its upcoming Inaugural Issue set to come out in September 2012. We are looking for critical articles written in Bengali language with subject matter that falls under the wide banner of media, communication and cultural studies relating to India or the SAARC countries. Young scholars are especially encouraged to apply.
We are seeking articles between 3000 and 5000 words written in Bengali. We also invite book reviews (1000-2000 words) of books broadly related to media, communication and popular culture in India. Submissions, in WORD/PDF format, should be sent to madhyamkatha@gmail.com
The hard copy/printed submissions should be sent through post, but first, please email us stating your desire to publish in this journal and the details of postal address will be sent to you via e-mail. Include a brief biographical note and an abstract of 200 words.
