We have great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 6th international symposium ‘Modern critical approaches towards Literary Studies’, which will take place on 26-28 September, 2012.
The symposium is thematic. The main topic of the event is: ‘Medieval Literature Processes: Europe, Asia, Georgia.’
The suggested panels for discussion at the symposium are:
· Medieval Literature and Modern Literary Processes
· Middle Ages – Epoch and Cultural Trends
· Shota Rustaveli and his Poem ‘The Knight in the Panther’s skin’
· Literary genres in the Middle ages
· The problems in the relationship of European and National Literary Contexts
· The Literary Tradition of the Middle Ages: The East and The West
· Clerical Literature in the Middle Ages There will be a round table.
Working languages of the Symposium are Georgian, English, Russian.
The interested applicants should send paper titles, abstracts of no more than 250 words (Font: Times New Roman, Size 11, Line spacing - single) and filled registration forms electronically to the Organizing Committee on the following emails by April, 15, 2012:
